We are seeking an organized and motivated Facility Manager who will drive financial performance initiatives and ensure great customer service experience for all KO Storage facilities in their region.
This person will take great pride running top notch facilities and will be the face of KO Storage to the communities they serve.
Schedule:
Part Time Facility Mangers work approximately 10 hours per week, depending on facility size and capabilities Monday through Friday Some Weekends and some Holidays (on call) Location:
Will split time between assigned KO Storage locations when applicable Compensation:
$13 - $15 an hour based on experience A Day in the Life Provide on-site support for existing and new tenants (move ins, unit transfers, move outs, maintenance requests, etc.
) Monitor the physical condition of assigned properties.
Complete full walk thru with the facility report weekly status of units and overall operational health of the facility.
Work with the District Manager and Communication Center staff to resolve customer issues.
Maintain curb appeal of all properties in assigned area using company supplied landscaping equipment Light maintenance of the facilities including door latch replacement, light bulb replacement, etc.
Source bids from local vendors for maintenance tasks that cannot be performed in house.
Ensure high quality service is consistently provided by all vendors contracted for services by KO Storage.
Complete operational reports as requested by the District Manager.
Assist in the operational onboarding of new acquisitions in the assigned region.
Drives the lien/auction process in a timely, accurate manner Provides support to the Communications Center and Operations by maintaining a pulse on the Self-Storage market and the progress of current company initiatives Requirements:
Who You Are Great attention to detail and pride in one's work Enjoys a blend of both physical and administrative tasks Able to deliver on time, every time Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing Proficiency with Word and Excel At least 1 year of supervising experience At least 1 year of maintenance experience Valid drivers' license, insurance, and reliable transportation Physical Requirements Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or perform minor repairs/cleaning when needed Must be able to operate small machinery such as Weed Wacker, leaf blower, shoveling, etc.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time Job Type:
